About me
Since 1996 Sofia Ristic* has been the Principal Harpist of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. Her recordings of Handel, Mozart, and Gliere performed with the RTV Slovenia Symphony orchestra are frequently broadcast throughout most major european national radios. Sofia graduated with top honors from the Tomadini Conservatory in Udine, Italy, where she studied with Patrizia Tassini, and completed her postgraduate studies in Milano, Italy with Fabrice Pierre. Sofia also holds a degree in Classical Literature from the University of Trieste.
*Sofia is replacing Lara Hrastnik Samec, a permanent member of the quartet, as Lara is expecting her first child soon and was unable to travel by air. The quartet warmly thanks Sofia for stepping in and saving the project in Canada and for the upcoming concerts in September.
