About me
Dutch-Canadian composer Edward Top is Associate Professor & Division Chair of Composition at the Vancouver Academy of Music and Sessional Lecturer at the University of British Columbia. As its current mentor composer, Edward maintains a close relationship with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO), where he served as its Composer-in-Residence from 2011-2014. Top’s works are published at Donemus in The Netherlands. His music is performed by Toronto Symphony, Dutch Radio Kamerfilharmonie, and Tokyo Sinfonietta a.o.
