Renee Zhao is an 8-year-old harpist from Canada. She began learning the harp at the age of 4 on a 25-string harp and quickly fell in love with its magical sound. Renee studies both classical and contemporary repertoire and enjoys expressing emotion and storytelling through her music.
She has performed in local recitals and competitions, showing confidence, sensitivity, and strong musicality well beyond her years. Her passion for the harp continues to grow, and she is always excited to explore new pieces and techniques. Renee’s dream is to one day perform around the world and inspire other young musicians to follow their passion. In her free time, she enjoy traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
