Amos Roach is an award-winning performer, composer, dancer, director and proud Djab Wurrung/Gunditj Mara and Ngarrindjeri man. Amos plays keyboard, guitar, and Didgeridoo. The inaugural First Nations Artist in Residence with the Australian Art Orchestra, Amos performs regularly including with musicians Archie Roach, Thien Pham, and Bart Willoughby. Acknowledged as one of Australia’s best Didgeridoo players, First Nations culture informs the fundamentals of his craft. Amos aims to bring traditional instruments into the mainstream canon telling stories of Songlines, family, and Country.
