About me
Katia hopes to show audiences the versatility and power of the harp - through performing modern classical repertoire, her own compositions, commissions and arrangements. She was mentored in Sydney (Australia) by virtuoso Alice Giles AM. Some accolades include, performing as a Semifinalist at The World Harp Competition (2024), winning 3rd place in The BASEL International Harp Competition (2023); the Quinquin Foundation Scholarship (2021-2022); the William and Marie Souter Encouragement Awards (2018-2020); the Bachelor of Music Scholarship (2017).
