About me
London-born Japanese harpist Naoko Yoshino started her solo career after winning First Prize at the Ninth International Harp Contest in Israel, in 1985. Her solo engagements with the world’s top orchestras have included the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, with conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Herbert Blomstedt, and Seiji Ozawa. Recordings to date include releases on the Teldec, Philips, and Sony Classical labels. In 2016, Naoko Yoshino launched her private recording label “grazioso”.
