About me
Born in Oberndorf am Neckar, Michael Deusch studied percussion in Lörrach and later at the Basel Academy of Musicwith Siegfried Schmid, earning teaching, orchestral, and concert diplomas. Further studies at the Federal Academy of Music in Trossingen expanded his expertise. He performed with the Basel Percussion Ensemble under Paul Sacher. Together with Yvonne Deusch-Cammarosano, he performs internationally as the duo PercArpa. He is also active in the ensembles Saitenschlag, Dúil, Tír ná nóg, and Tír nua, focusing on world and Celtic music traditions.
