About me
Maya Lai is a harpist at the University of Michigan School of Music,
Theatre & Dance, studying with Yolanda Kondonassis. Winner of the
2025 Mitchell-Hogg Competition, she appeared as a featured soloist with
the Houston Symphony performing the Ginastera Harp Concerto. Maya has
performed with leading orchestras and is the 2025 recipient of the
American Harp Society’s Ruth Wickersham Papalia Scholarship Award.
