About me
Matt began learning the harp in France at the age of 8. He studied with Nicolas Tulliez in Shanghai, Heidi Krutzen in Vancouver, and completed his training with Caroline Lizotte. Matt is the recipient of several awards and scholarships, including second prize in the Orford Music Prize in 2020. Matt teaches harp at the Vincent d'Indy School of Music in Montreal and at the Quebec Conservatory in Trois-Rivières, where he shares his love of music with the next generation of musicians.
