Portugal native Mario Falcao is Professor Emeritus of the State University of New York at Fredonia and Visiting Professor at the Escola Superior de Musica de Lisboa, Portugal. Mr. Falcao’s collaborations with composers over multiple decades has resulted in numerous solo, chamber, and orchestral works for harp. Mario served as Chairman of the Board of the American Harp Society and, in 2018, received their Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a founding member of the World Harp Congress and received their Outstanding Service Award in 2022.
