About me
Slovenian native Maria Gamboz grew up in Tokyo, Japan, where she studied with Sumire Kuwashima. Maria has won several scholarships and international competitions including the Victor Salvi Competition and the TIM, Salon de Provence, France, competition. She released the CD Rustiques, with Slovenian trumpeter Jure Gradišnik, and has performed in various festivals across Europe. Currently Maria is the Principal harpist for the Ljubljana Opera House. She also teaches, and regularly gives seminars for young Slovenian harpists.
