About me
Originally from Thimister (near Liège), Margaux Ortman (b. 1992) studied at the Institut Royal Supérieur de Musique & de Pédagogie in Namur (IMEP) with Nico De Marchi and Francis Orval. She joined the Royal Band of the Belgian Air Force in 2013, becoming solo horn in 2016. Since 2023, she has been principal horn at the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, becoming section leader in 2024. Margaux also teaches at Verviers Conservatory, IMEP,and co-founded the Duo Eoliha in 2021.
