About me
Lori Gemmel is principal harpist with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and teaches at Wilfrid Laurier University and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She tours Canada with her husband Tom Allen, presenting Chamber Musicals they create together combining music, history and storytelling most recently J.S. Bach's Long Walk in the Snow and their new show, Brahms in New York. Lori commissioned the Partita for Violin and Harp by Caroline Lizotte, supported by a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.
