About me
Lina Cao is a Chinese-Canadian guzheng virtuoso, educator, and artistic
director based in Toronto. She is the founder of the Toronto Guzheng
Ensemble. She has received major awards including China’s Golden Bell
Award, the Wenhua Award, and grants from the Canada Council for the
Arts.
As an internationally active soloist, Lina has performed across North
America, Europe, and Asia, collaborating with ensembles and orchestra.
Her performances have been broadcast by CBC Music and WFMT Chicago.
