About me
A prominent soloist and teacher, Judy Loman studied with Carlos Salzedo at the Curtis Institute of Music. She received Canada’s Juno Award, the Canada Council’s Grand Prix du disque Canadien, and in 2015 was appointed to the Order of Canada. Judy Loman served as principal harpist with the Toronto Symphony from 1960-2002, taught at the Curtis Institute of Music for several years, and currently teaches at the University of Toronto and the Glen Gould School of Music.
