About me
Joost Willemze was awarded first prize in the Princess Christina Competition in The Hague, at age sixteen. Subsequent competition success include the International Harp Competition in Porto, the Italian competition ‘Suoni d'Arpa, the Dutch Classical Talent Award, where the jury praised his playing as “harp next level”, and as Artist in Residence at the 2024 Grachtenfestival. He released his debut recording in 2022 and made his debut with the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in 2025, at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
