About me
Alison Melville’s career as a performer on historical flutes and recorders has taken her across North America, Scandinavia, Europe, Asia and New Zealand. She performs with the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, is a former member of Toronto Consort and Ensemble Polaris, and was Artistic Director of the Bird Project. She served on the faculty of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music from 1999-2010, and continues to teach across North America. She trained in Toronto, London (UK) and Basel (CH.)
