About me
Performer, composer, improviser… harpist Hélène Breschand 's approach stems from a collaborative process that unites sound, gesture, and vibration in a resolute engagement with the world. Born in Paris, her solo career began at the age of twenty. She works with numerous composers and performs a repertoire of contemporary works. She operates at the boundary of several disciplines and experiences interpretation and improvisation as two complementary approaches to music. She teaches harp at the conservatory in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.
