About me
Alanna Ellison is a versatile harpist recognized for expressive,
sensitive performances across Canada. She studied with Judy Loman at the
University of Toronto and Jennifer Swartz at McGill University,
following early mentorship from Sharlene Wallace and Marie Lorcini.
Alongside performing, Alanna directs a thriving private studio, teaches
on the harp faculty at the Community Music Schools of Toronto, and
serves on the board of the Ontario Harp Society, promoting artistry,
education, expression, and community through dedicated advocacy and
mentorship initiatives.
