About me
Erik Groenestein-Hendriks has been principal harpist of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra since 2013 and was previously solo harpist of the Orquesta Filarmónica de Santiago (2007–2010). He has performed with renowned conductors including Haitink, Dudamel, Blomstedt, and Gardiner, and appears regularly as a soloist with orchestras across Europe. Also dedicated to historical harps, he collaborates with various early music ensembles. Erik teaches at the University of Gothenburg, which offers an orchestra master’s program.
