Mexican harpist Emmanuel Padilla Holguín became the first Latin American harpist to win an international harp competition by receiving 1st prize and the Audience Award at the Dutch Harp Competition 2016. He is the first harpist to be part of the prestigious group of soloists “Concertistas de Bellas Artes” in Mexico, Co-founder and Co-artistic Director of the Latin American Harp Association, and since 2024, the harp professor of the National Conservatory of Music, in Mexico.
