About me
Daniel Velasco is Associate Professor of Flute at the University of Kansas, principal flutist with the Miami-based NuDeco Ensemble, and artist in residence at the Bay View Music Festival in Michigan. An award-winning flutist, he has been featured as a recitalist and soloist across the United States, South America and Europe. His debut solo album, Flauta Andina, was released in 2022 under the NAXOS label. He is a Yamaha performing artist.
