About me
Dayanara Bravo is a violinist, guitarrón player, vocalist, and
ethnomusicology student at UCLA. Originally from Delano, California, she
has been involved in mariachi for over 16 years, beginning her musical
journey at a young age with Mariachi Juvenil Mestizo. She currently
serves as secretary and new student director of Mariachi de Uclatlán at
UCLA, where she helps foster the ensemble’s educational outreach and
supports the next generation of mariachi musicians.
