About me
Dr. Colleen Potter Thorburn performs widely as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral harpist. She is establishing a harp studio and private teaching studio at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, where she also teaches music theory. A past winner of the American Harp Society's Anne Adams awards, she previously served as Principal Harp with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and taught at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Yale University and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Illinois.
