About me
From standard symphonic repertoire to contemporary premieres, flutist Casey Granofsky is celebrated for her musical sensitivity and technical command. As Principal Flute of Symphony Nova Scotia, she is regularly featured as a soloist in music ranging from the Baroque period to newly commissioned works. As a chamber musician, she performs regularly in a woodwind quintet with her other SNS principals, and as part of Alkali Collective, Halifax’s dedicated new music ensemble.
