About me
Anabel Guitérrez Orraca founded the Asociación Latinoamericana del Arpa in 2021, to expand access to education for harpists across Latin America. She holds advanced degrees from McGill University in Montreal; the Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Her research interests include the history of the harp in Cuba, Latin American harp literature, and the use of performance identity for career development among harpists.
