About me
Alexander Rider freelances with major UK ensembles including the BBC Symphony, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Royal Opera and Ballet Orchestra; the City of Birmingham Symphony, Brighton Philharmonic, Gabrieli Consort, and the Academy of Ancient Music. Passionate about French music of the early 20th century and period instruments, he researches, records historical repertoire, and lectures internationally. Since May 2023, he has worked with Camac harps and is a visiting guest tutor at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
