About me
Yunyan Liu was born in 2010. She began learning the harp at the age of six. From September 2016 to July 2022, she studied at Xiamen Music School under the guidance of Teacher Junying Pan. In September 2022, she was admitted to the Harp Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music affiliated school with excellent grades. She continued her harp studies under Professor Jason Chang. She has won the Bronze Award in the Fifth Hong Kong Harp Competition, the First Prize in the Bee Hummingbird Ensemble and Solo Competitions in 2021, the Distinction With Honours Award in the Singapore Harp Competition in 2022, the Silver Award in the Cross-Strait Harp Competition in 2024, and the Gold Award in the Salvi Harp Competition in Fujian, China in 2025. She has also attended master classes with renowned world harpists such as Judy Loman, Sasha, and Langlamet.
