About me
Lynne Aspnes is Professor Emerita of Harp from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and a past president of the American Harp Society. She served in music administrative positions at Michigan as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Chair of the String Department, and Director of the Center for Career Development, and at Arizona State University as Associate Dean for the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. Aspnes’ performing and teaching career has taken her around the globe, from festivals in Australia, Europe, and South America to concerts in Southeast Asia and across the North American continent. She can be heard in recordings on the Collins Classics, Clarion, CRI, ProArte, ProOrgano, RCA Red Seal, SoundSet and Virgin Classics labels.
