raves The WholeNote. The Venuti String Quartet brings together four of
Toronto’s most sought-after musicians, performing regularly with the
Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian Opera Company, National Ballet of
Canada, and Tafelmusik. Named for jazz violin legend Joe Venuti, the
quartet moves fluidly across classical, jazz, tango, and contemporary
repertoire. Members include Grammy-winning arranger Drew Jurecka,
violinist Rebekah Wolkstein, violist Shannon Knights, and cellist Amahl
Arulanandam.
