About me
Petyan Quartet is a contemporary cross-cultural ensemble named after the wildflower season of Gariwerd. Founded in 2021 by harpist Jacinta Dennett, the quartet brings together four distinctive musical voices: Amos Roach (Yidaki), a proud Djab Wurrung/Gunditj Mara, and Ngarrindjeri man and leading cultural artist; Johanna Selleck (flute), a celebrated composer and researcher; internationally active chamber musician and composer William Vyvyan Murray (viola); and Dennett, known for her expressive performance style and commitment to Australian music.
