One Harp World

Echoes of the Çeng reimagines an ancient West Asian angular harp as a symbol of displacement, weaving voice, field recordings, and tradition into a soundscape of postmigrant identity and belonging.

Gallos y Huesos for Harp and Vocal Ensemble (Lucrecia Jancsa): Original composition by Pablo Ortiz, poetry by Sergio Chejfec, for three sopranos, two altos, baritone, and harp, exploring ontological themes on roosters and bones, with visuals images by Eduardo Stupía. 

Hear US (Veronika Lemishenko): The program features works by contemporary female harpist-composers, each carrying a profound social message. Through music, it explores themes of psychological pressure, the restriction of rights, humanity’s reconnection with nature, the impact of lockdowns, the realities of war, and deep reflections on love, death, and eternity.

Stasa Mirkovic Grujic: A vivid journey through Serbian solo harp music, from royal origins to today,  featuring tradition, humor, and spirit, including virtuosic Oro and the world premiere of A Rose for Harp.

Joost Willemze: The story of Orpheus unfolds on harp, blending traditional repertoire and new works to explore love, loss, and the timeless force of myth.
