Harp Works of Marjan Mozetich and Eileen Padgett 🍁
Thursday July 30, 2026 09:30 - 10:00 EDT
The harp works of Marjan Mozetich and his former student Eileen Padgett, each shaped by reflections on nature and nurture, reveal two unique voices in dialogue across generations. This concert will explore the relationship between the two composers Marjan Mozetich and Eileen Padgett, who had followed his composition courses. Referencing Mozetich's Songs of Nymphs (excerpted performance), this presentation will include performances of Padgett's Memories in Water, and the world premiere of Eileen Padgett's Waltz after Dark, primarily composed for orchestra, transcribed for the harp on Claire's request by Eileen Padgett.
